Harm Reduction Vending Machines (HRVM) are a practical and inexpensive tool to help prevent opioid overdoses, test for HIV, and provide Safe Sex Kits and Fentynal testing strips. These are just a few ideas our partners have come up with. Our main goal is the help get Harm Reduction Resources to the community proactively.
We have three machines: Harm Reduction 1.0, Harm Reduction 2.0, and Harm Reduction Narrow. They all dispense harm reduction supplies of Naloxone, Narcan Nasal Spray, which is a nasal spray that blocks the effects of opioids in overdose situations; condoms; safer sex kits; sterile water kits; alcohol wipes; Fentanyl testing strips; medicated wipes for wound cleaning or injection site disinfection; and much more!
We have several machines in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin, West Virginia, and many more!
